The Celtic calendar, based on the agricultural and pastoral year, didn’t celebrate Valentine’s Day. But that doesn’t mean we can’t!
For those familiar with Celtic love stories and songs, you know most of them end in tragedy, betrayal, or both. There’s often murder, unrequited love, and magical beasts. There’s plots and intrigue, deception, and so much more. Oh yes, and there’s also Love. g
Even though Valentine’s Day is not a traditional Celtic celebration, we thought all the plot twists and turns in the great Celtic love stories would make for a great way to celebrate Valentine’s Day a new way. Murder, chases, treachery, and of course some great songs. Although this show isn't for the faint of heart, we promise you'll be smiling by the end.
We invite you to our Valentine’s Day celebration with music, song, dance, stories and merrymaking. Curl up with your favorite Valentine with your favorite drink, and enjoy this year’s “Valentine’s Day—the Celtic Way” on-line - the COVID 2021 edition.
